POSITION: Patient Care Coordinator Marketing Director

POSITION PURPOSE:

  • Patient Care Coordinator/Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of the patient care process and the development and implementation of an effective communication strategy internally and externally, to include updating educational brochures, letters, website, speaker bureau and public relation programs that will help brand Beeson Cosmetic Surgery Center.
  • Oversees and manages all aspects of the patient care process to include consultation calls, consultation visits, and follow-ups, scheduling pre-op appointments, surgery, post-op visits, databases, letters, surveys and follow-up.
  • Manages the administration of the marketing function to sustain and assist in increasing market share as defined in the Business Plan

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor Degree in marketing, communications or health related degree is required, but those with exceptional skills and experience may be considered.
  • Masters degree in related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years marketing experience in a health care environment is preferred.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  • Above average knowledge of marketing, health promotion, instructional design, patient education and training practices and theories.
  • Above average knowledge of computer software programs and Internet usage to include average typing/word-processing skills.
  • Knowledge of health care administration and regulatory compliance issues.
  • Above average communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation capabilities to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, media, business and industry and the public.
  • Skills in exercising initiative, analysis, organizing, judgment, discretion, problem solving and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Skills in implementing marketing campaigns, promotion materials, and conducting and evaluating market research to implement marketing strategies.
  • Excellent knowledge of patient education, training techniques and tools.
  • Ability to work creatively with management and department staff to achieve objectives. making to achieve organizational objectives.
